Wishlist 2011

This has been my yearly tradition to share my birthday and Christmas wishlist. Reason? Hoping that someone will grant my wish. Haha, kidding. Seriously, I just want to have a list of the things I want to accomplish before the year end or for the coming year. Also to check whether those listed came to life. Here’s my list anyway:
10. Pampering – this may be a foot and hand spa, a body massage or both.
9. Cool jacket.
8. Comfort foods – pizza, donut and chocolates, a lots of them this season! *Wonderin’ why these sinful foods doesn’t build up fats in my body. Hmmm
7. Additional memory – hoping to have a new external HD or flash this year (aside from my ‘short term memory loss’ hehe, I’m also worried bout my machine’s memory shortage.)
6. New pair of slip-on shoes! – ‘nagmumurang’ color red, yellow or blue. LOL
5. A cool planner – and because of my busy sched, I badly need this one.
4. New gadget/s – HD camera or tablet.
3. Room make over + a bigger closet!
2. Out of town trip with Quakerz – sana matuloy. *fingers crossed*
1. New learning / business expansion. I want to learn how to cook, play drums and swim! And of course ctrlP to prosper hehe.

Fulfilled wishes

6 out of my 11 wishes were fulfilled last year.
And it goes:
10. Full body massage! Atlast as a birthday treat for myself.
9. Blue / Red Shoes – I actually write it as an OR but it turned out to be AND. Thanks babes.
7. Chocolates and Pizza – Special thanks to my friends. Haha
5. New bag
2. Braces – My virgin teeth finally visited a dentist. Haha
And to top it all, my greatest wish was fulfilled. Ehem Alamna.

I heart Studio Ghibli

Have/Haven’t heard of this film outfit? Well, it’s a Japanese animation studio founded in June 1985. Tagged with Disney, a bunch of really cool films attracted me this past few weeks. As referred by my bestfriend, I started to collect these films and watch it over the weekend. Here’s the list of the films according to my liking:
8. Castle in the Sky (1986) - Princess Sheeta and Pazu
7. Tales from Earthsea (2006) – Sparrowhalk, Price Arren and Therru
6. My Neighbor Totoro (1988) – Totoro, Satsuki and Mei. Watched this together with my dad.
5. Spirited Away (2001) - Chihiro and Haku/Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi. A very mystical film about hope and appreciation. Watched with my dad, day 4 of my vacation. Hihi.
4. Ponyo (2008) – Ponyo and Sōsuke. A cute story of young love. I really commend the character’s movement/animation of this film. Watched with my sis.
3. Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989) – Kiki, Jiji and Osono. Story about a young witch trying to prove herself in a city.
2. Howl’s Moving Castle (2004) – Howl, Sophie and my favorite Calcifer (fire). The first SG film I’ve watched.
1. Arrietty (2010) – The recent and my most favorite. I hope there’s a sequel for this movie.
I really love Studio Ghibli, there are about 11 in line, I’ll update you once I finished watching all 19!

Em Back (I’m Back)
New url. New Home (WordPress).
This is not actually a fresh start, for I migrated my old blog posts from my previous blog. Rather, I want to call it an improved blog site. More personal and wider topics to be featured. Ang blog na mas AKO, kaya ginamit ko ang childhood nicks ko na: PIDO.
Gusto/Balak ko siyang gawin na Daily Diary A documentation of my daily life and incorporate some pictures too (sana). So ‘pag tanda ko I will look into the compilation of my daily adventure. Sounds cool, but ang hirap panindigan. Hehe. Hoping huwag sana akong tamarin sa gagawin kong ito.
Also, my post will be in Tagalog, English, or Taglish (combination of English and Tagalog) depende sa mood.

12:00 am: Abot ang tunog ng CP ko, salamat sa mga nakaalala at bumati sa pagsapit ng saktong December 21.
3:30 am: Gumising ako para gumayak sa Simbang Gabi with my Family.
4:30 am: Isang malamig na Simbang Gabi (Actually, it’s the only Simbang Gabi I attended. LOL)
6:00 am: We went straight to Jobee (ang swerte ng Jobee to have all the blessing straight from the mass)
7:00 am: Bahay na finally, natulog ng 2 hrs to recharge.
9:00 am: NagFB (Facebook) ng sandali at gumayak narin para sa another gala with babes (10:30 am)
11:30 am: Nanood ng Tron Legacy sa SM Cinema 2. Movie Review: Sulit naman ang binayad dahil sa superb effects but ang simple ng story. Pero over-all nag-enjoy naman ako, though puro ’100 years” ang kasama ko. (Wondering pang-oldies ba ang Tron legacy? LOL)

1:45 pm: Without having lunch, I proceeded to my next appointment. A reserved slot for a full body massage. Gosh it’s my first time! Hindi ko na ikukwento ang buong pangyayari, hay sobrang nakakarelax kahit medyo mahal, minsan lang naman eh hehe.
3:00 pm: Finally, went home. Atlast, after receiving several missed calls and sms messages. Hehe.
4:00 pm: Alast, makakatulog narin! Pero isa itong pagkakamali dahil tumawag naman si daddy. (ayaw talaga akong patulugin sa bday ko hehe) Ayun, he greeted me at told his surprise (Can’t wait for January!)
7:00 pm: And to top my day, of course mawawala ba ang aking greatest addiction: PIZZA!
12:00 am: Ayun, biglang nakatulog hehehe (tinapos lang talaga ang Dec 21 LOL)
Isang mahaba, hindi malilimutan at masayang araw, Kaarawan para sa akin!
Salamat nga pala sa mga bumati through Facebook and text.
Lesson: Humanap ng oras para matulog at huwag iminom ng inumin na may L-Carnitine, salamat sa loperamide. Hehehehe.

First Day of December

24 days before Christmas and 20 days before my birthday. Another year added sa aking age. Hay, pero sabi nga ng isa kong friend, Twenteens parin naman daw ako, hehe.
Kahapon, inoffset ko ang pinasok ko ng Monday for the BUSSC Comm Group Team Building Workshop. At dahil rest day ko ito, I decided na doon ko na gawin ang aking Christmas shopping, early indeed. Bumili na ako ng regalo para sa aking inaanak at sa mga ‘sabit/alalay’. Over-all? I wrapped all the gifts and felt too excited to distribute it all the way! Hihi.
And another thing, my room light was finally fixed, after a heck of a month. Grrr.
Dahil sa pag-off ko ng isang araw, isang tambak na trabaho ang bumungad sa akin, simula palang ng pag-in ko. Masyado naman nila ako namiss ata. Hehe. Anyways, kwento ko nga pala na nagjudge ako ng isang Poster Making Contest for the Dental Health Month primer. Kung dati ay ako ang jinujudge, well hehe. Sa mga hindi po nakakaalam, out of 25 na sinalihan kong poster making, 4 palang dun ang panalo. Maybe ang pagiging judge ang calling ko. Hehe. Naka-relate tuloy ako sa status ni Danica:
“Winners are not those who never fail but those who never quit.”
The good thing is, Hindi naman ako nagquit kahit ilang beses akong natalo, the mere fact na piliin ka at magtiwala sa iyo to represent your school is really overwhelming. Sa totoo lang, wala pa pong suporta sa bawat laban ko (no personal trainer, training, etc etc).
4pm Meron naman stress breaker which is the annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony. Na-feel ko ulit na magpapasko na naman. Hay. Another food festivity, sharing, gift giving, simbang gabi, at MMFF movie hopping. Hehe.
Ang haba ng araw na to! Pero it’s worth the effort. Seeing those thankful people na napasaya mo through the little time you’ve given. Diba, it’s better to give than to receive?

Lesson: Aki, kailangan ng lakas ng loob para maging isang photographer. Hehe and huwag i-under estimate ang fireworks ng BU.
